All members are required to complete a firefighter 1 class to become a firefighter. On every Tuesday night we have a meeting that all attend, during the time between 6PM and 8PM we discuss issues like training, equipment, and the condition of the apparatus. All personel train in Angled rescue, Hazardous materials, Engineer training, Aerial operations, Wildland firefighting, and basic EMS classes. Even though we don't run medical calls, all firefighters are prepared for just about anything that can happen. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer fire fighter please drop by the station at 232 Lafayette between the hours of 6PM and 8PM on Tuesday nights, or between  7AM and 830AM Saturday mornings.
